Another Win For Boys Stuff At The ECMOD 2004 Awards - 30/11/2004
The Stuff Group team celebrated a second consecutive win at the leading mail order industry awards ECMOD (European Catalogue & Mail Order Days), proudly picking up award for ‘Best Transactional Website’ for Boys Stuff, the leading brand in the ever-growing e-tail group.

"This year weve witnessed a remarkable shift in the level of sophistication demonstrated by the awards entries," said Chairman of the Judges, Andrew Wilson . "Its heartening to see how well many businesses in the sector are responding to the demands of the current fiercely competitive market."

Now in their seventh year, the ECMOD awards were created to recognise excellence within the expanding yet highly competitive catalogue, e-commerce and multi-channel sector.

Following on from their first nomination in 2002 and last year’s win for ‘Best Catalogue Makeover’, the award is further proof of Boys Stuff’s commitment to producing innovative, market leading catalogues, supported by a website that delivers in every sense of the word. This reinforces the reputation of the group’s renowned IT support facility and their internally designed software system e-pandora, which has enjoyed previous praise for efficiency and user-friendliness:

Over 700 representatives of the industry from across Europe attended the gala dinner, sponsored by Royal Mail, and with comedian, TV gameshow panellist and author Tony Hawks (Around Ireland with a Fridge, Playing the Moldovans at Tennis) as compere, at Earls Court on November 25th. The awards ceremony concluded another eventful year for the Stuff Group which saw the birth of another three sites in www.girlsstuff.co.uk, www.minimotoandstuff.co.uk and www.fitnessandstuff.co.uk, making the Stuff Group the largest collection of online retailers in the UK.
