The AR.Drone has a Wii connection with a range of approximately 50 metres and has an onboard computer.

The AR.Drone has a 1000mAh lithium polymer battery which has a flying time of a approximately 12 minutes and will recharge in around half an hour.

The AR.Drone now has an Android facility which enables it to recognise a number of the leading smart phones and tablets and still be compatible with iPhone, iPad or iPhone Touch.

All you have to do is tilt the iPhone, iPod etc to make the AR.Drone travel in whichever direction you wish. Once you have grasped the skill for flying the AR.Drone push the virtual throttle forward to climb and press "land" to safely return to base.

The AR.Drone is suitable for both beginners and experts alike. It is manufacruted from robust carbon fibre and has a tough polypropylene protective body.
