This alarm drops from the ceiling, and every time you hit snooze it winds itself further and further out of reach!

The Hanging Alarm Clock is attached to your ceiling and hangs down by a cable. The sound of the alarm is the Close Encounters tune. When the alarm goes off and you reach up to hit the snooze button, the clock will wind up the cable 30cm in one minute. Each further time you press snooze, the clock will wind up the cable another 30cm.

The idea is that eventually you will have to drag yourself out of bed to reach the alarm and turn it off. This gradual awakening will rouse you from your slumber gently but also make sure you actually make it out of bed!
