It's a unique mobile phone application that protects items from loss or theft. This gadget acts like a “Bluetooth tether” that can be used to protect a wide range of items from laptops and briefcases, to data sticks and car keys. And can also be used to prevent the loss of the mobile phone itself and by doing so, the data contained within it.
You can set security zones to set a perimeter around your mobile phone that causes the tag and your phone to alarm if the tagged item moves outside the zone. You can choose from three security zones that vary the perimeter between 2 to 20 meters.
Press the ‘locate' button on your nio™ software and your nio™ tag will emit an audible SOS tone so you can locate your tagged item - No more hunting for your keys first thing in the morning!
By creating schedules for common uses (i.e. morning commute), you can quickly and automatically change settings to accommodate your new surroundings, without needing to manually connect to your nio™ tag, or change the security zone.
Determine how you want nio™ to alarm on your mobile phone, including audio and discreet vibrate. You can even choose different alarm sounds for each tagged item - ideal if you have more than 1 nio™ tag! You can also connect to 2 nio™ tags at the same time so you can keep track of your keys, your bag and your mobile phone!
