The simpilest option for setting up your gaming chair is by connecting the audio cables provided with the chair to the analogue audio out sockets on the TV/monitor (usually headphone jack or red/white output sockets) and the audio input sockets on the chair.

Or alternatively flick the switch on the gaming chair control panel to bluetooth and connect to your bluetooth device.

XBOX ONE

As the X-Box ONE only has a HDMI cable for video and audio, and a digital audio output (optical), you will need to connect the BraZen Spirit 2.1 Bluetooth Pedestal Surround Sound Gaming Chair to the TV directly (see below). You can use a digital audio to RCA phono (red & white) adapter - these you can purchase from any good electronics stores, or online (>click herefor a Google search of the adapter). As the X-Box ONE does not have Bluetooth, you will not be able to connect a Bluetooth capable chair to this device via Bluetooth - you will need to connect it up using cables.

Below is how to set up the BraZen Serpent 2.1 Bluetooth Pedestal Surround Sound Gaming Chair to the X-Box ONE using the digital to analogue adapter. You may need a Toslink cable between the console and the adapter if the product does not include one.

PLAYSTATION 4

As the PS4 only has a HDMI cable for video and audio, and a digital audio output (optical), you will need to connect the BraZen Serpent 2.1 Bluetooth Pedestal Surround Sound Gaming Chair to the TV directly (see below). If not, you can purchase a digital optical audio to RCA (red & white) phono adapter from most good electronics stores (>click herefor a Google search of the adapter), which will enable you to make use of the digital audio output. If you have a Bluetooth capable Gaming Chair, you will not be able to connect it to the PS4 via Bluetooth as the PS4's Bluetooth is only compatible with Playstation 4 products.

Below is how to set up the The BraZen Serpent 2.1 Bluetooth Pedestal Surround Sound Gaming Chair to the PS4 using the digital to analogue adapter. You may need a Toslink cable between the console and the adapter if the product does not include one.

Playstation 3 is connected to the TV via HDMI

If you are connecting your PS3 to the TV via HDMI, there are two ways that you can now connect the BraZen Serpent 2.1 Bluetooth Pedestal Surround Sound Gaming Chair up. The first uses the Multi AV RCA (red, white & yellow cable) as stated above, and the other uses a digital to analogue audio adapter. Please read on for information on these two connections.

You can set up the Playstation 3 to play audio through the Multi AV cable (red, white & yellow (supplied with the PS3)), and still play the video through the HDMI cable. You can also set this up to play audio through both outputs, for multi-functionality. The first thing to do, is to plug the PS3 into the TV as normal. Then, to plug in the Multi AV cable into the PS3, and connect up the BraZen Serpent 2.1 Bluetooth Pedestal Surround Sound Gaming Chair to this cable, as stated above (leave the yellow cable unconnected to anything, the HDMI is transmitting the video). The next thing to do is to change the audio settings on the PS3. To do this, go to the PS3 settings menu and go to Settings>Sound Settings>Audio Output Settings. Here you want to change the output from 'HDMI' to 'Multi AV' (or similar). This will allow you to play the audio through the chair

To use a digital to analogue audio adapter, you will need to set the BraZen Serpent 2.1 Bluetooth Pedestal Surround Sound Gaming Chair up as below, but also change the above settings on the PS3 (Settings>Sound Settings>Audio Output Settings) to 'Optical Digital'. >Click herefor a Google search of the adapter. You may need a Toslink cable between the console and the adapter if the adapter you have purchased does not include one.  If you have a Bluetooth capable Gaming Chair, you will not be able to connect it to the PS3 via Bluetooth as the PS3's Bluetooth is only compatible with Playstation 3 products.

X-BOX 360

If you are using the 5/6 plug component cable that came with your Xbox 360, you should have no problem connecting your BraZen Serpent 2.1 Bluetooth Gaming Chair to the audio red & white plug from the console.  If you are using HDMI cable, you will need to either connect the BraZen Serpent 2.1 Bluetooth Gaming Chair to the TV – see below – or use the Xbox 360 audio adapter.  As the Xbox 360 does not have Bluetooth, you will not be able to connect a Bluetooth capable chair to this device via Bluetooth you will need to connect it up using cables.

X-Box 360 is connected to the TV via the HDMI cable?

If you cannot connect the BraZen Serpent 2.1 Bluetooth Pedestal Surround Sound Gaming Chair to the TV, and you are using a HDMI cable for the X-Box, you will need to purchase an X-Box 360 audio adapter. This will plug into the X-Box 360 as well as the HDMI cable, and will give you two audio RCA sockets to use. You can then either plug these into the chair, or into the wireless transmitter (follow the diagrams below for the digital adapter, to connect the X-Box adapter the same way.

You should be able to find this in any good electronics stores, or online. >Click herefor a Google search of the above adapter.  You can also use a digital audio to RCA phono adapter. You can set this up as below. You should be able to any good electronics stores, or online. >Click herefor a Google search of the adapter. You may need a Toslink cable between the console and the adapter if the product does not include one.

Alternative Option for Connecting via Bluetooth:

Both MicroSoft and PlayStation have scrambled their systems to only work with their own products.  A little unfair we think as they do not stock gaming chairs!!!!

To get around this we suggest picking up an external Bluetooth transmitter which will connect to your TV instead.

These adapters don’t have to anything special and can be found cheaply. Such as this one; >http://www.amazon.co.uk/eSynic-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Sender-Stereo/dp/B00HZ0L17E/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1423674739&sr=8-10&keywords=esynic+bluetooth+a2dpThis is one has been tested and works with our Bluetooth compatible chairs and is also rechargeable so there is no additional cost for batteries.

If you have a headset for the console an alternative solution could be to use this.  It needs to have two earcups instead of the standard one.  The adapter that comes standard with these headsets can be used to connect the controller directly to the chair with the only wires needed would be the power supply for the chair and the one from controller to chair.
