XBOX ONE

As the X-Box ONE only has a HDMI cable for video and audio, and a digital audio output (optical), you will need to connect the X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chair to the TV directly (see below). You can use a digital audio to RCA phono (red & white) adapter - these you can purchase from any good electronics stores, or online (click here for a Google search of the adapter). As the X-Box ONE does not have Bluetooth, you will not be able to connect a Bluetooth capable chair to this device via Bluetooth - you will need to connect it up using cables.

Below is how to set up the X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chair to the X-Box ONE using the digital to analogue adapter. You may need a Toslink cable between the console and the adapter if the product does not include one.

PLAYSTATION 4

As the PS4 only has a HDMI cable for video and audio, and a digital audio output (optical), you will need to connect the X-Rocker Saturn Gaming Chair to the TV directly (see below). If not, you can purchase a digital optical audio to RCA (red & white) phono adapter from most good electronics stores (click here for a Google search of the adapter), which will enable you to make use of the digital audio output. If you have a Bluetooth capable X-Rocker Gaming Chair, you will not be able to connect it to the PS4 via Bluetooth as the PS4's Bluetooth is only compatible with Playstation 4 products.

Below is how to set up the X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chair to the PS4 using the digital to analogue adapter. You may need a Toslink cable between the console and the adapter if the product does not include one.

X-BOX 360

If you are using the 5/6 plug component cable that came with your Xbox 360, you should have no problem connecting your X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chair to the audio red & white plug from the console.  If you are using HDMI cable, you will need to either connect the X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chair to the TV – see below – or use the Xbox 360 audio adapter.  As the Xbox 360 does not have Bluetooth, you will not be able to connect a Bluetooth capable chair to this device via Bluetooth you will need to connect it up using cables.

X-Box 360 is connected to the TV via the HDMI cable?

If you cannot connect the X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chair to the TV, and you are using a HDMI cable for the X-Box, you will need to purchase an X-Box 360 audio adapter. This will plug into the X-Box 360 as well as the HDMI cable, and will give you two audio RCA sockets to use. You can then either plug these into the chair, or into the wireless transmitter (follow the diagrams below for the digital adapter, to connect the X-Box adapter the same way.

You should be able to find this in any good electronics stores, or online. Click here for a Google search of the above adapter.  You can also use a digital audio to RCA phono adapter. You can set this up as below. You should be able to any good electronics stores, or online. Click here for a Google search of the adapter. You may need a Toslink cable between the console and the adapter if the product does not include one.

PLAYSTATION 3

If you are using the RCA phono (red, white & yellow) cable that is supplied with your PS3, you can connect the chair to this cable (read on). If you are using a HDMI cable to connect your PS3 to your TV, you will either need to connect your X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chairto the TV directly (see below), or you will need the red white & yellow cable that came with the chair (read on). You can also use a digital to analogue audio cable if you want (read on). If you have a Bluetooth capable X-Rocker, you will find that the X-Rocker will connect to the PS3, but you won't be able to get the game audio through the chair, only chat audio. This is because the PS3 will treat the chair as a Bluetooth headset, so will not work fully.

Playstation 3 is connected to the TV via the 3 plug Multi AV cable?

If you are using your X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chairwired up, you will need to use the following cables for each control panel.

Playstation 3 is connected to the TV via HDMI

If you are connecting your PS3 to the TV via HDMI, there are two ways that you can now connect the X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chairup. The first uses the Multi AV RCA (red, white & yellow cable) as stated above, and the other uses a digital to analogue audio adapter. Please read on for information on these two connections.

You can set up the Playstation 3 to play audio through the Multi AV cable (red, white & yellow (supplied with the PS3)), and still play the video through the HDMI cable. You can also set this up to play audio through both outputs, for multi-functionality. The first thing to do, is to plug the PS3 into the TV as normal. Then, to plug in the Multi AV cable into the PS3, and connect up the X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chairto this cable, as stated above (leave the yellow cable unconnected to anything, the HDMI is transmitting the video). The next thing to do is to change the audio settings on the PS3. To do this, go to the PS3 settings menu and go to Settings>Sound Settings>Audio Output Settings. Here you want to change the output from 'HDMI' to 'Multi AV' (or similar). This will allow you to play the audio through the chair.

To use a digital to analogue audio adapter, you will need to set the X-Rocker Rockster 2.1 Gaming Chairup as below, but also change the above settings on the PS3 (Settings>Sound Settings>Audio Output Settings) to 'Optical Digital'. Click here for a Google search of the adapter. You may need a Toslink cable between the console and the adapter if the adapter you have purchased does not include one.
